Walk into a facility at 6 AM… and it’s already spotless.

No rush. No missed corners. No last-minute fixes before operations begin.

That’s where cleaning is heading.

Today’s industrial-grade robots don’t just move around randomly.

They understand the environment.

They map every corner, adapt to the layout, and respond in real time when something changes, like a spill on the floor or high-traffic zones that need extra attention.

The result is consistent cleaning without interruptions.

It's a system that works quietly in the background while your team focuses on what actually drives the business.

This is what intelligent cleaning looks like when it’s built for scale.

Most facilities aren’t built for clean floors. They’re built for output.

Metal shavings, debris, and constant movement make safety harder to manage than it should be. And that’s where problems start.

An industrial cleaning robot handles the mess consistently, so your team can stay focused on the work that matters.

Slag. Sparks. Metal debris.

That’s the reality on many industrial floors.

The MT1 is built for exactly that kind of environment.

The MT1 autonomously maps and cleans large spaces with precision, handling heavy debris while maintaining consistent cleaning performance across warehouses, manufacturing facilities, airports, and other high-traffic environments.

Think of it as your new night shift cleaner.

Autonomous. Reliable. Working every night without supervision.

And with powerful sweeping technology and intelligent navigation, it keeps floors clean while helping reduce labor demands and improve operational efficiency.

At RobotLAB Dallas, we don’t just sell robots.

We install them, train your team, and provide ongoing support to make sure everything runs smoothly.

If you’re looking to automate floor cleaning in demanding environments, the MT1 is built to handle it.

Cleaning automation

Part 3: “If I’m not laying people off, where is the savings?”

This is the most important question—and the most misunderstood.

Savings don’t come from firing people.

They come from eliminating paid hours spent on repetitive floor work.

Let’s translate dollars into time.

Before automation:

• $750/day ÷ $25/hr ≈ 30 labor-hours/day

largely spent on floor cleaning

After automation:

• Robot absorbs ~50% of that work

• Floor labor drops to ~15 hours/day

Those hours don’t vanish. They’re:

• reallocated to high-touch areas

• used to cover peak traffic and events

• removed from overtime, temps, or future hiring

That’s the savings.

The robot doesn’t replace people.

It replaces low-value, repeatable hours.

(Part 4 shows how we model this conservatively before recommending anything.)

Part 1: Why most robot ROI math is wrong

When you measure the work the right way, the ROI becomes obvious.

Most teams try to calculate cleaning robot ROI by comparing:
→ robot cost vs hourly wages.

That’s the wrong unit.

Cleaning is not bought by the hour. It’s delivered by square footage.

Here’s a simple way to normalize it.
Manual cleaning:
• ~1,000 sq ft takes ~20 minutes
• Fully loaded labor: ~$25/hr

Manual cost per 1,000 sq ft:
→ 0.33 × $25 = $8.32

Robotic cleaning:
• Robot lease + service ≈ $30/day
• Conservative daily capacity: ~72,000 sq ft

Robot cost per 1,000 sq ft:
→ $30 ÷ 72 = $0.41

That gap isn’t theory. It’s math.

The biggest mistake I see?

Comparing robots to wages instead of cost per square foot.

(Part 2 digs into what this looks like in a real building.)
