The Boys & Girls Clubs of Truckee Meadows and Fernley got a hands-on look at careers in the skilled trades during a tour of the Operating Engineers Local 3 Apprenticeship and Training Center! 🚜

Students explored the many career opportunities available to operating engineers and even got behind the controls of real equipment with guidance and supervision from current apprentices.

This was a great day of learning, trying something new, and discovering future career paths! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

They explored apprenticeship training programs, learned from industry professionals, and discovered what union careers truly offer to their members.
