A customer wanted their aluminum ramps mounted to their trailer. We made custom brackets that thru bolt to the steel lip of the trailer, and lag thru the wood with aluminum hinges welded on. We also welded a little bracket we made so the ramps could be pinned up for transport.

Friday a customer brought a truck in with some frame rust, upon further inspection it turned out to be worse than expected. We cut out the old sections of rust, welded in new metal, plated over that and sprayed it with rust inhibitor paint, and bed liner on top of that. Turned out great, and hopefully added some more miles to this truck. Thank you for entrusting in us to fix it.

On Wednesday, I met with John, owner of Marioochi’s Pizzeria on the square about his front door hinge beinging broken, causing the door to not shut properly, and being a potential safety issue. We bounced ideas off one another and came up with a plan. Later that evening, John brought the door to my shop. I cut the old hinges off, got new hinges he supplied and added custom mounting plates on the door side and jamb side. We added a hinge assembly in the middle of the door as well. These plates allow weight disbursement, and are bolted thru the door with a backing plate on the inside of the door. This door should never have issues again.

Busy past 4 days here at the shop. Got a custom built gate installed for a customer out in Walling. The right side of her driveway sloped about 13” so we built a custom “triangle” piece that clamped to the bottom of her gate to maintain a 2” gap above grade. It turned out good.
