Long over due introduction, but I’m Steve Hammett—owner of M.S. Hammett Construction.
I’m a third-generation home builder with a passion for high-end renovations and custom remodeling projects spanning across Western North Carolina and the Upstate. After more than a decade managing luxury builds in the mountains, I started my own company in 2014 with a simple goal: to bring thoughtful craftsmanship and lasting quality to every project that I get the privilege to be a part of.
I live in Spartanburg, with my wife Kristy (a professor at Wofford College), my daughter Loie (a future interior designer), and our two German Shorthaired Pointers. When I’m not busy on a job site, there’s a good chance I’m at the coast chasing redfish as that is my second passion.
