𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Experienced Carpenter
With a history of over 45 years in residential construction in the Black Hills, Timberline Builders is a growing company with a solid reputation. We are currently taking applications for an Experienced Carpenter to be part of our team of construction professionals in the Spearfish SD area. Qualified candidates must value integrity and take pride in their work.
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
• Previous construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools and equipment, an understanding of construction plan sets, able to work independently and follow given tasks to completion
• Valid driver’s license with ability to maintain a clean driving record
• Physical strength and stamina as well as comfortable with heights
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
• Good work ethic and history of consistent attendance
• Must be 18 years of age or older
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞 (𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨):
Rough framing and finish carpentry, installation of windows, sidings, cabinetry, trim work, etc. using hand and power tools
𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: Full Time (40 hours/week)
𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞: Monday-Thursday, 10 hour days, no weekends
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:
Competitive Pay ($20-27/hour depending on experience)
Paid time off and paid holidays after one year
Supplemental insurance through Aflac

With a history of over 45 years in residential construction in the Black Hills, Timberline Builders is a growing company with a solid reputation. We are currently taking applications for a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to work out of our Spearfish office.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
• Strong organization and time management skills
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Precise data entry skills and proficiency in programs such as Excel and QuickBooks
• Ability to comply with relevant state tax laws
• Effective and timely written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, making exceptions for applicants with related experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞 (but are not limited to):
• Oversee company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Assemble financial reports as needed.
• Enter and pay vendor bills
• Generate project draws and create client invoices
• Enter time sheets and run bi-weekly payroll
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Manage Taxes (payroll, excise, quarterly, and annual)
• Review and manage company insurance policies such as general liability, workers’ comp, automotive, etc.
• Maintain current certificates of liability and workers’ comp. insurance for subcontractors
• Assist with basic Human Resource duties such as posting job ads, managing applications, and scheduling interviews. Manage new hire documents, compliance, and temporary disability insurance and workers’ compensation filings
• Provide support answering phones

𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: Full or Part-Time options depending on qualifications

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞: Regular office hours; no weekends

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:
