SECTION 8 RACING: 2026 YEAR IN REVIEW!
We missed a few goals this season, but we still built an incredible collection of stories, memories, and stats!
LET'S TALK NUMBERS! π
ποΈ 7 Cars
π 4 Car Owners
π 21 Different Drivers
π 8 Feature Wins
π₯ 4 of our 7 cars found Victory Lane!
And here's where it gets even better:
β
EVERY car made at least one Dash!
β
EVERY car won at least one Heat Race!
β
EVERY car led a Feature during the season!
That's right. All 7 cars led a Feature this year!
We also had countless hard chargers, podium finishes, fast times, and unforgettable moments to celebrate.
And we nearly pulled off the ultimate Section 8 podium sweep! At Lincoln Park, we finished 1st, 2nd, and 4th! So close to a 1-2-3 finish!
π A SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO OUR 2026 FEATURE WINNERS!
π₯ Bryce Massingill
π₯ Parker Perry Racing
π₯ Kole Kirkman
π₯ Colby Lane
π₯ Garrett Abrams
Congratulations to these guys for getting it done this season! Different drivers, different cars, and plenty of trips to Victory Lane!
We didn't bring home a points championship, but Addison True wheeled the Derrickson Racing 9D to a 2nd-place finish in points! π
BUT HERE'S THE BIGGEST TAKEAWAY FROM 2026.
A huge thank you to Josh Petry, Jon Montgomery , and Ryan Hood for helping keep TQ racing alive. They made cars available, put drivers in seats, and kept the show moving.
Special thanks to Brad Wilson for bringing serious knowledge and a awesome shock game to the track every week. Your support and experience meant a lot to the entire team!
We also kept the OGs of Section 8 in the mix, with Stephen Davis and Addison True Racing continuing to represent the team and add to its story. And we added some dirt to the rΓ©sumΓ© of Raintree 100 winner Brandon Mefford! ππ₯
We also have to dig into the archives for a special shoutout to Chelby Hinton Racing for putting on a show at Greensburg and creating a story that only gets better with time. Some racing moments never fade, and this is one of them!
There's a lesson in that for all of us.
RACECARS ARE MEANT TO RACE, NOT COLLECT DUST!
Growing this sport isn't always about winning another trophy. It's about getting another car to the track, giving another driver an opportunity, and making sure there's a race for everyone.
We had 21 different drivers behind the wheel of just 7 cars this year. That's 21 opportunities to be part of something!
To every car owner, sponsor, driver, crew member, and supporter who made this season possible, THANK YOU!
We didn't accomplish everything we set out to do, but we had fun, won races, made memories, and helped keep TQ racing moving forward.
2026 WAS ONE HECK OF A RIDE! ππ₯
