Turns out, I should have built saw horses years ago for larger builds. As nice as my welding fixturing tables are for smaller projects, the horses are a game changer for us. Cut down the build time on this very large frame by hours!!

For some of the work we’ve been doing, they are just too large for our welding tables and in the past have tied them up making it impossible to do other jobs. So with that said, it was time to make some heavy duty welding saw horses. The A-Frame legs are almost completed, just need to weld on pads to the feet with leveling bolts so that we can get them level to one another on an uneven shop floor.

Super busy week. We built 3 of these massive shipping frames for one of our customer. Only 6 more to go. Nearly 200” long x 82” wide. Getting them out of the shop through a 14’ door was fun and exciting as well. Round 2 starts Monday for the next 3.

Things are super busy at the moment and I’m loving it!! Processing 4900lbs of steel sheets (16GA, 14GA, and 10GA), Jake is welding up a bunch of 3/4” plate steel parts, and I have a complex welding project I’ll be getting to in the morning. Oh and the sun was shining today so the shop bay doors were open to let in the amazing sunshine.
