One might say to themselves it's "just p**p," right? Grab a shovel, scoop it up, and be done with it right? Please don't do it.

Most raccoons carry roundworm. As that waste dries out in a shaded, confined space like the underside of a deck, it breaks down into dust. Disturb it with a shovel and you're sending microscopic eggs into the air. Standard household cleaners won't kill them. Heat is the only thing that does.
