Glacier Supply Group is a local, family-owned heating and air conditioning distribution company. Three generations of family management have been dedicated to providing its contractors with top-notch service and products for over 70 years. Glacier Supply Group, formerly Thrifty Supply Company, was founded by Harold Gorlick and his brother, Moe, in 1951 in Seattle, Washington. In 1985, a second gen
eration of leadership added a complete line of HVAC equipment and Thrifty developed a strong presence as a full service distributor in its local markets. From there, the company expanded throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Northern California. In 2018, Thrifty Supply acquired the assets of Blacks Wholesale, an HVAC distributor with five branches throughout Eastern Washington and Montana. In January of 2022, a third generation of the family purchased the business and rebranded as Glacier Supply Group. Today, there are eight branches in four states, with over 70 committed employees serving Glacier Supply Group customers.
