Overview:
Our ideal candidate has varied Carpentry experience, but we consider all individuals possessing the appropriate skillset and desire to learn and grow. You must be able to coordinate and collaborate with other workers and supervisors on-site, so clear communication skills are crucial. You should have the skills to collaborate with our team to construct, install, and repair a multitude of structures and fixtures. You must know how to read and interpret blueprints, work with raw and finish materials, and have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment. An individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail is preferred. In addition, the ideal candidate must work well with little supervision while following all health and safety standards. Our goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or GED certificate required. Completion of a carpentry program at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience: Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction. Proficiency in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools.
• Maintenance: We do our best to take good care of our equipment since it’s the means to completing our services.
• Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, schematic diagrams, sketches, specifications and drawings. Have a good understanding of math. Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as the ability to comply with company specific safety requirements.
• Characteristics: You will be interacting with other team members as well as customers so good communication skills are necessary to perform your job. You must be capable of receiving and following instruction and communicating with co-workers. We are looking for an honest, hardworking and dependable individual to complement our team. Good physical condition, dexterity, and endurance.
• Qualifications: Must have your own tools, safety equipment, driver's license, and dependable vehicle. Due to special services we provide for some vulnerable clients, we require you to pass a background and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities:
• Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, siding, cabinets, drywall, insulation and roofs using a variety of materials.
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed for a project.
• Lay out flooring, roofing or drywall ensuring they are leveled and compatible.
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance.
• Fit and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter’s level, plumb bob, and laser levels.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
• Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
• Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.
