Job Title:
Poured Concrete Wall Crew (Foundation Form Setter)

Position Overview
Cook Foundation & Flatwork is seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our poured concrete wall crew. This position involves setting foundation forms and stripping forms after concrete walls are poured. We are willing to train the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities
• Set and assemble foundation wall forms
• Strip forms after concrete has been poured and cured
• Assist with poured wall construction projects
• Work safely at heights (typically on 2x6 scaffolding ~6 feet off the ground)
• Perform general labor duties on an active construction site
• Operate basic hand tools including circular saws and hammers

Requirements
• Able to lift 10–110 lbs on a DAILY BASIS
• Reliable transportation
• Clean driving record – MVR will be ran prior to employment
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, snow)
• Basic construction skills preferred:
• Reading a tape measure
• Using a circular saw
• Using a hammer

Tools: Tool pouches and a hammer are required (can be provided temporarily for new hires if needed)

Work Conditions
• Outdoor, physically demanding work
• Exposure to varying weather conditions
• Work at moderate heights (~6 feet) on scaffolding
• Hands-on, labor-intensive role

Schedule & Seasonality
• Hours: 40–50 hours per week (weather dependent)
• Some weeks may be slightly under 40 hours due to weather
• Seasonal Layoff: Typically early January through mid-March or early April due to road weight restrictions and extreme temperature
