All LaX employees are responsible for the quality, inspection, and certification required to meet our customers expectations. Employees are certified in their expertise and work on a variety of equipment. All employees are trained on machinery such as the drill line, angle clipper, welders, and a plasma table. LaX team members also receive training on forklift operation, crane operation, general w
ork place safety and protective equipment usage. LaX has the capability of supplying structural steel that has been rolled, punched, drilled, welded, blasted and painted. This includes angles, bars, beams, channels, tees, rail, pipe and tube. LaX does a variety of work including structural steel such as beams, columns, rails, stairs, bollards, lintels, joists and decking. The company also does a lot of smaller and specialty projects like stair towers, railings, mezzanines, tanks, fixtures, footbridges, and ladders. The company ships products and materials to both domestic and international customers. LaX prides itself in serving the local community, we can design and fab to meet your needs. LaX began operations leasing a building on the pike between La Crosse, WI and La Crescent, MN The first two months, nine of LaXβs employees were sub-contracted to build industrial washers. Since that time LaX has built industrial ovens washers that have been shipped to Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Guatemala and Mexico. In the spring of 2008 LaX was sub-contracted to build another industrial washer that was shipped to Texas. The washer, which measured 20 feet wide by 160 feet long, and 14 feet tall, has the capability to wash 3,000 aluminum cans per minute. LaX Fabricating quickly outgrew the La Crescent facility and in November of 2007 signed a 99 year lease for a 120,000 square-foot facility Spring Grove, MN.
