S & S is currently looking for a setup man and machine operator of a CNC 5 axis grinding machine. Under the supervision of the Production manager the candidate will take part in the implantation of a new automated production cell.
Day to Day tasks-
Develop and implement new process of production on a CNC grinding machine
Do setup on a CNC grinding machine
Operate a CNC grinding machine
Participate in the meeting of the team of 4 persons for the continual improvement of the departement
Required skills:
2 years of experience as machine operator of a CNC 5 axis machine or equivalent
Have ability to do setup on CNC machine
Have experience in grinding
Have ability to measure precise dimensions with standard inspection tool
A resourceful, methodical and rigorous worker
Motivated to work and have ability to learn
Team oriented
Knowledge in 3D modeling/SolidWorks, an asset
Knowledge of basic concepts in database management, an asset
Be a bachelor's student in mechanical engineering, an asset
Knowledge of Industry 4.0, an asset
Knowledge in SQL programming, an asset
