For Murex Petroleum’s fall community service project, our Houston team came together to build and deliver raised flower beds for the residents of Spring Creek Village Assisted Living.

Our volunteers assembled the beds, gathered soil, plants, and gardening supplies, and delivered everything to Spring Creek Village. After filling the beds with soil, we handed things over to the real gardening experts.

The residents have their own gardening club and were already digging in and planting before we even left. The gardening club boss was especially excited to share their new additions with the other residents at their enrichment meeting later that day.

A big thank you to our Murex volunteers and the residents of Spring Creek Village for letting us be a small part of something we hope they’ll enjoy for many seasons to come.

As students head back to school today, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the teachers and staff who have already been hard at work preparing for the new school year since August 3rd!

To help kick off the 2026–2027 school year, Murex Petroleum was proud to provide breakfast and lunch for the teachers and staff at Northgate Crossing Elementary School in Spring ISD on their first official day back to school!

We are grateful for the dedication and hard work these educators put in to support their students and our community. We wish all of the students, teachers, and staff at Northgate Crossing a wonderful and successful school year!

Here’s to a great 2026–2027 school year!

As part of their Fill-the-Bag Holiday Food and Funds Drive, employees from Murex Petroleum’s Houston Office donated four SUV-loads and two carloads of food to the Montgomery County Food Bank yesterday morning and spent a few hours volunteering in the Produce Rescue Department. Together, they assembled 222 produce boxes for senior citizens and 288 boxes for local families.

In partnership with Twin Eagle Cares, Evonik, Arroyo, and Applied Underwriters, Murex’s food drive also raised $10,000 to support the Montgomery County Food Bank.

The experience was a meaningful reminder of what the holiday season is about- coming together to support our local community.
