How do bacteria behave differently in the pharmaceutical industry?

Well, it has to do primarily with the nature of the systems used in production – they are typically closed loops with large quantities of purified or distilled water. Though the purification processes should have stripped the water of any viable carbon sources, bacteria can begin colonizing and forming biofilms (persistent contamination structures) for a variety of reasons:
• Low quality of pipe material
• Diameter of the pipework
• Rate of recirculation
• Dead-ends
• Shutdowns or periods of low water usage
• Inefficiencies of UV-light, steam, or ozone treatments
Rather than only slowing biofilm growth (and having inevitable hits), why not use something that prevents biofilm in the first place?

Introducing BiLiSS – a patented biofilm-targeting enzyme detergent made for the pharmaceutical industry.

There are many different types of bacteria that can contaminate food and beverages in the food industry, but here are the top 10 types of bacteria and how enzymatic cleaners can be used to prevent their growth and spread:

- Salmonella: This bacteria is commonly found in raw or undercooked meats, eggs, and dairy products.
- Listeria: Listeria can be found in deli meats, hot dogs, soft cheeses, and other products.
- E. coli: E. coli can be found in undercooked meats, raw milk, and contaminated water.
- Campylobacter: This bacterium is commonly found in poultry products.
- Clostridium perfringens: This bacterium is commonly found in meat and poultry products.
- Bacillus cereus: This bacterium is commonly found in rice, pasta, and other starchy foods.
- Staphylococcus aureus: This bacterium is commonly found on human skin and can be spread through contact with contaminated surfaces or equipment.
- Vibrio vulnificus: This bacterium is commonly found in raw oysters and other shellfish.
- Shigella: These bacteria can be found in raw produce and contaminated water.
- Yersinia enterocolitica: This bacterium is commonly found in pork products.

In summary, enzymatic cleaners can be used to prevent the growth and spread of many types of bacteria in the food and beverage industry. They can be used to clean surfaces, equipment, and other areas to prevent contamination, aid in the treatment of biofilm. By using enzymatic cleaners, the food and beverage industry can improve their overall cleaning practices and ensure the safety and quality of their products.

Attention everyone in the food and beverage industry! Did you know that enzymatic cleaners are a game-changer when it comes to keeping your workspace clean and safe? Enzymatic cleaners use natural enzymes to break down and remove dirt, grime, and organic matter that can harbor harmful bacteria and germs. Unlike traditional cleaners, which often use harsh chemicals that can leave behind residue and potentially contaminate food, enzymatic cleaners are biodegradable and gentle on surfaces. This means that not only are enzymatic cleaners safer for your employees to use, but they also help to maintain a higher level of cleanliness and hygiene in your kitchen, restaurant, or bar. By eliminating hidden sources of bacteria and grime, enzymatic cleaners can reduce the risk of food borne illnesses and help you stay compliant with health and food safety regulations.

So, if you're looking for a better way to keep your food and beverage workspace clean and safe, give enzymatic cleaners a try! Your customers and employees will thank you.

While enzymatic cleaners have many benefits, some people may still argue that caustic cleaners are better. Here are some points that could potentially change someone's mind and convince them that enzymatic cleaners are a better choice:

• Safety - Enzymatic cleaners are much safer to handle than caustic cleaners, which can cause skin and eye damage if not handled properly. Enzymatic cleaners are also safer to dispose of and do not emit harmful fumes.

• Environmental impact - Enzymatic cleaners are much more eco-friendly than caustic cleaners, as they are biodegradable and do not harm the environment. Caustic cleaners, on the other hand, are not biodegradable and can contribute to environmental pollution.

• Equipment longevity - Over time, the use of caustic cleaners can actually cause damage to equipment and surfaces, leading to costly repairs or replacements. Enzymatic cleaners are gentle on equipment and surfaces and can help extend their lifespan.

• Cleaning effectiveness - While caustic cleaners are effective at breaking down grease and grime, enzymatic cleaners are just as effective at removing soil but without harsh chemicals. In addition, enzymatic cleaners can be more effective at removing certain types of stains and are used at lower temperatures, saving energy and reducing costs.

• Cost savings - While caustic cleaners may appear to be cheaper up front, the long-term cost savings of enzymatic cleaners are clear. Enzymatic cleaners require less water and energy, reduce equipment damage and repair costs, and have a longer shelf life, ultimately saving money over time.

Realzyme’s enzymatic cleaners offer a safer, more environmentally friendly, and cost-effective option for cleaning than caustic cleaners. By making the switch to enzymatic cleaners, businesses can improve their cleaning practices while also saving money in the long run. http://www.realzyme.com/

Enzymatic cleaners can be more cost effective than traditional caustic cleaners for several reasons:

First, enzymatic cleaners require less water and energy to heat the water used for cleaning. This is because the enzymes used in these cleaners work more effectively at lower temperatures, meaning less energy is needed to heat the water. This can lead to cost savings on water and energy bills over time. Second, enzymatic cleaners can be more effective at breaking down dirt, grease, and grime than traditional caustic cleaners. This means that less cleaning solution is needed to achieve the same level of cleanliness. As a result, less cleaning solution is needed for each cleaning task, reducing the overall costs of cleaning. Third, enzymatic cleaners are safer for equipment and employees, reducing the likelihood of equipment damage or employee injury, and therefore reducing the costs associated with repairs and workers' compensation claims. Finally, enzymatic cleaners are more environmentally friendly and biodegradable than traditional caustic cleaners. This means they are safer to dispose of and can help reduce the environmental impact of your business.

All of these factors can lead to cost savings for your business in the long run, making enzymatic cleaners a more cost-effective and sustainable option for cleaning. Contact Realzyme today!
