Boiler tear down for cleaning and insurance inspection. Tubes cleaned, replacing flame diffuser and she gets new gaskets. Then time to fire it up and do a complete combustion analysis. New Province Brewing will be ready to start a new boil this afternoon.

Northwest Arkansas is facing the potential for severe weather in the coming days. Now is the time to prepare your home and HVAC system so you’re not caught off guard if conditions worsen.

Before the weather hits, take these precautions:

✅ Check your HVAC system

1. Make sure your system is running properly before storms arrive
2. Replace dirty filters to maintain airflow
3. Clear debris from around outdoor units for heat pumps

🔌 Prepare for possible power outages

1. Know where your breaker panel is located
2. If you have a generator, test it now
3. Turn your thermostat to a safe setting before outages occur

🌡️ Protect your home

1. Keep interior doors open to maintain balanced airflow (In the event of an outage you may need to close off rooms to preserve heat in a smaller area)
2. Seal obvious air leaks around doors and windows

🧊 Plan for extreme temperatures

1. Have extra blankets, fans, or space heaters (used safely) ready
2. Stock water and essentials in case conditions limit travel

🚨 If the worst happens

1. Do NOT run generators or gas appliances indoors
2. If your system stops working or is damaged, turn it off and call a professional

Important Update For Kinder Service Plan/Membership Customers

We want to take a moment to explain how your existing Kinder Service Plan will transition as Kinder Heating & Air becomes part of the NWA Cooling & Heating family. Our goal is to make this as smooth and straightforward as possible, with little to no disruption for you.
How Your Current Service Plan Will Transition
If you are on monthly payments:
Beginning in February, we will start transitioning you to our NWA Cooling & Heating service plan structure. Your coverage and level of service will remain very similar during this process.
If you are on annual payments:
We will enter your existing plan into our system to track service history and maintenance. Once your current Kinder plan reaches its expiration, you will then transition into our service plan structure at renewal.
What’s Staying the Same
• Pricing is very similar to what you are accustomed to
• The services performed during maintenance visits are very similar
• You can continue calling the same phone number you’ve always used
What Will Be a Little Different
• Monthly billing preferred:
While annual options still exist, we strongly prefer monthly billing because it simplifies management for both you and our office.
• Better repair discount:
Our service plans include a 15% discount on repairs (previously 10%).
• Scheduling approach:
Maintenance visits are typically scheduled as heating and cooling tune-ups, rather than strictly “spring” or “fall,” though we still aim to complete most visits during slower seasons when possible.
• Office contact:
Tiffany in our office handles most service plan communication and scheduling. While phone calls remain the same, email communication will come from NWA Cooling & Heating.
• Customer portal access:
We do offer customer portals. As service is performed, you may receive a text or email with information on accessing your portal for reports, scheduling, and renewals.
