Our coworker, Bill Hewitt, EHS Manager, recently took the stage as this month's SPN Group (Safety Professional Networking Group) speaker to share how artificial intelligence and safety can work together.

If you missed Bill's talk, you'll have another chance to catch him presenting on this topic at the Missouri Association of Manufacturers conference this fall.

Huge shoutout to our dedicated safety professionals representing Paul Mueller Company: Jessica Presley, Bill Hewett, Leslie Tuter, Lisa Cardone, and Brandon Pottenger. Thank you for driving innovation and keeping safety at the forefront of everything we do.

When industry and education come together, the whole community wins.

Coworkers from Paul Mueller Company recently visited Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) to equip the next generation of welders with the tools they need to succeed. One hundred incoming students received a complete welder supply kit—including a professional helmet and essential gear—valued at $300.

"The gift of these required class supplies helps eliminate financial barriers for incoming talent." — Landon Vinson, Department Chair of Manufacturing at OTC

To make the delivery even more special, students received custom helmet stickers designed by one of OTC’s very own graduates, Svetlana Rupert, now a Graphic Designer at Paul Mueller Company!

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Hudson, Executive Dean of Career, Technical and Community Development, for welcoming our team—Scotty Cline, Casey Petzoldt, Melissa McCormick, Darrell Fisher, Maxwell Boivin, Kenyon Gerbrandt, and Kellie Jayne Vaughn—and for OTC’s continued partnership.

"Hands-on trade education is vital to our local economy and manufacturing sector. We are proud to support these dedicated students as they build practical skills that lead to rewarding, high-paying careers."
— Jeffrey Phillips, Chief Operations Officer at Paul Mueller Company

550,000 Safe Hours. That's more than a number.

It's thousands of decisions to do the job the right way.
It's coworkers looking out for one another.
It's choosing safety—even when no one is watching.

To recognize this milestone, our Dairy Farm Equipment coworkers celebrated 550,000 safe work hours together at BigShots Golf Springfield.

Every tank built.
Every weld completed.
Every shipment delivered.

Safety happens because people make it a daily priority.

Congratulations to everyone in Dairy Farm Equipment on this outstanding accomplishment—and thank you for continuing to create a workplace where everyone goes home safely.

Can a process tank meet every specification on paper and still fail cleaning validation?

It happens more often than many realize. That's why the most important decisions happen before a tank enters service.

Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Clean-in-Place (CIP), and Steam-in-Place (SIP) are frequently treated as separate considerations—in reality, they all place demands on the same vessel.

Before finalizing a vessel design, engineers, quality teams, and equipment buyers need to understand how GMP, CIP, and SIP requirements work together—and where costly challenges can emerge. Read our latest white paper for key considerations to inform a more compliant, efficient, and reliable design.
