25 Years — We Will Never Forget 🇺🇸
Today marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001. We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless families whose lives were forever changed.
Fifteen years ago, American Steel Fabricators was given the honor of helping preserve a small piece of that history.
A 23-foot-long, approximately 7,000-pound section of structural steel recovered from the World Trade Center was brought to Beavercreek, Ohio, to become part of the city’s 9/11 Memorial. ASF fabricated and donated the steel base that supports and displays the artifact.
As steel fabricators, we work with beams every day. But this one is different. The twisted and scarred steel is a powerful reminder of what happened that morning—and of the strength, sacrifice, and unity that followed.
We were honored then, and remain honored today, to have played a small part in giving this piece of American history a permanent place in our local community.
