"An Introduction to Copper Electroforming"

This class will provide all the information needed to incorporate Copper Electroforming into your artwork. The market is finally demanding copper electroformed pieces, don’t be left out! Copper Electroforming has the potential to increase the value of your artwork by 2 times or more than the original value.
This class will cover:
General Safety and Emergency Procedures
Scientific Explanation of Electroforming Process
Sourcing and Purchasing Materials and Equipment
Bath Mixing and Setup
Bath and Glass Prep Pre-Run
Formulas to determine Power requirements
Bath and Glass Post Run
Finishing Techniques: Buffing, Patina, Sealing
Bath Maintenance: Chemical Levels, Filtering
BGS believes in providing a 100% hands on approach to classes, each student will complete all of the included lessons listed above. Each student will have the option of taking the 1 gallon of solution home with them upon completion of the course.

*(3) For those who wish to come early, we will be opening the studio up Friday for early arrivals, and will have Pre-party meet and greet. We will use this time to create an item that you can electroform during the class. You will be allowed access to our studio bench, torches and materials. We will give you as much guidance as we can designing your piece to ensure the results you are expecting.
