After a lot of thought and reflection, I’ve made the decision to dissolve Truflame Gas Solutions to avoid potential future conflict of interest moving forward, and return to steady employment.
Building Truflame has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. What started as an idea became a successful natural gas line repair and installation company through hard work, relationships, trust, quality service, and the support of so many great customers, contractors, friends, and family members.
Like many small businesses, it was often feast or famine. There were incredible highs, moments of growth, and opportunities I’ll always be grateful for. There were also hard lessons. While we were successful in many ways, we ultimately failed to build the kind of long-term sustainability we envisioned and that’s okay.
Failure isn’t always the opposite of success. Sometimes it’s part of it.
Failure teaches humility, resilience, problem-solving, and clarity. It forces growth in ways comfort never can. It shows you what works, what doesn’t, and what truly matters. Most importantly, it gives you the experience and perspective to build something stronger the next time.
This chapter may be closing, but the entrepreneurial spirit is still very much alive. We’ve recently started Emerald Heritage Properties Emerald Heritage Properties, and we’ll be shifting our focus and energy into growing that venture moving forward.
To everyone who supported Truflame Gas Solutions over the years — thank you. Every referral, conversation, opportunity, and handshake meant more than you know.
On to the next chapter.
