We have an upcoming sidewalk/ADA improvement project that per MoDOT contract requires us to hire and train someone from a minority group. The trainee must be a minority and/or female or be approved if they fall within the poverty guidelines as "disadvantaged persons". The purpose of this minority trainee program is to increase participation of minority groups, disadvantaged persons and women in all phases of the highway/bridge construction industry. The intent of this trainee program is to lead to journey-level employment.

We want to take a moment to recognize our Melville Bridge/Road Superintendents, Nathan Worley, and Paul Egan, and their teams for completing another successful Hartman project. The MoDOT I44 Bridge/Road replacement project not only was challenging, but required many overnight I44 lane closures. If you are not familiar with construction on the interstate, this carries extremely high risk working in/around 70 mph traffic with the majority being tractor trailer traffic. This team worked days and nights accident free in completing this project and deserve recognition!

Thank you to all involved in the Sunshine Bridge replacement project. From demolition, reconstruction, and railroad involvement, our teams worked early mornings, late evenings, and also sacrificed nearly every Saturday for months away from their loved ones in completing this project. If you are not aware of the "red tape" involved in a project of this size, then your opinions are not valued. We know what our team and business partners accomplished and we couldn't be more proud of you all!
