At the end of 2001, Gary & Susan Peterson decided to make a lifestyle change by giving up their Long-Haul trucking company and multiple farming operations in Nebraska & California. Opting to stay within the local community, the couple chose to purchase 300 bee hives and try their hand at Beekeeping instead. Alas, Paradise Honey Farms was born in early 2002, and still to this day proudly serves the
Springville, Sequoia Nat'l Forest, Porterville, & greater Tulare County areas with over 1500 beehives. In February of 2014, Gary lost his 5 year battle with Cancer, leaving Susan to run the business and oversee the employees herself. In 2015, Susan invited family friend and "adopted son" C.J. McCurdy to join the business, utilizing his Engineering background to take over the Operations Division, Sales Division, and the upgrading of the Production Facilities. Currently, Paradise Honey Farms offers various Crop Pollination services, Honey Extraction services for other beekeepers, as well as our own 100% Organic Raw Honey for sale in sizes ranging from 1 ounce gifting/occasion bottles, 16 & 32 Fluid ounce standard bottles, and all the way up to 55-Gal drums. We can also ship orders via UPS to your door if you're unavailable to visit our Headquarters in Springville.
