Fun Fact: Joe (and his brother James, who works alongside him at Rosewood) make music when they're not building beautiful spaces. 🎸 And if you’ve ever wondered where the name Rosewood came from, it has a musical connection, too!

We think about every remodel like a performance. Countertops take lead vocals, cabinetry holds the rhythm underneath, tile fills in the harmony, and lighting is the sound engineer nobody notices until something's off.

October is Kitchen and Bath Month, so we put the whole lineup together on our blog. Check out The Remodel Playlist: What Makes a Kitchen or Bath Sing 🎶 at rosewoodbuildinggroup.com/blog/remodel-playlist-kitchen-and-bath-design.

The location of your sink makes a big difference in how your kitchen functions and feels, so it’s one of the first decisions we consider when planning a layout.

A sink under the window brings natural light and gives you something to look at while you’re working. In the island puts you facing the room, making it easier to stay part of the conversation while cooking and cleaning.

So, which would you choose for your dream kitchen: window or island? ✨

Plenty of contractors pass on structural repairs in older homes. We don’t.

Marsha spent four years trying to find someone willing to take on the repairs her 80-year-old home needed. We're glad a neighbor eventually handed her our card, and are even happier that she's already planning the next repair with us.

Structural repairs and restorations are an important part of what we do. If your home needs work that others have passed on, we'd be happy to take a look. 💚

Fall is here, and it’s one of the best times to start a remodel! 🍂

As the busy summer season winds down, project timelines tend to become a little more predictable. Starting now also means there’s time to plan thoughtfully, order materials, and take care of the details without rushing, so your kitchen or bathroom can be ready for the holidays.

If a remodel has been on your mind, now is a great time to start mapping out the timeline.

What happens when a design-build company remodels its own office? You get to see exactly how we work! ⭐

Not gonna lie, the before pics aren't pretty 😅 but that's exactly why we're doing this — turning it into a real space to sit down with clients, spread out plans, and talk through a project before we break ground. It's the same process we use on every job: measure twice, build once, and make room for the details that matter.

Stay tuned for the full reveal and be sure to follow along as we finish it out!

Every square corner, every clean tile line, and every cabinet that closes just right starts with a crew that shows up and cares about getting it right.

This Labor Day, we're celebrating the people behind the work, the ones who bring skill, pride, and care to what they do every day. We're grateful for our team and for all the hardworking people who keep things moving forward.

Happy Labor Day from all of us at Rosewood Building Group. 💚

This built-in library at our White House Farm Lane project is officially done, and it's exactly the kind of space that makes a house feel like home. 🏠 💕

What was once a nursery just off the primary bedroom has been thoughtfully transformed into a custom home library designed for the way this family lives today.

Custom shelving built to fit the room perfectly, with a finish selected to complement the rest of the home. The floors were also stained to match the rest of the house, creating a seamless transition between spaces. It's proof that built-ins can completely redefine a space when they’re designed with purpose.

The wait is over.

From custom cabinetry handcrafted in our own shop to the thoughtful details throughout the design, every element of this kitchen was created to be as functional as it is beautiful.

Inspired by 1930s antique furniture, the cabinetry features inset framing, beaded inset drawers, and a rich Alder finish with Harvest Gold stain. Inside, every inch was designed with purpose, including a pull-up mixer shelf, custom spice inserts, pull-out shelves, and even a rolling library ladder for easy access.

But the real show stopper? The baking station.

Nestled within a uniquely angled bay window that steps down on both sides, this space demanded more than a standard cabinet solution. An off-the-shelf cabinet line would have required bulky filler pieces to make the geometry work. Because we build in-house, we designed and fabricated a seamless station that fits the space beautifully without compromise.

What detail catches your eye first?

It's National Relaxation Day, so we're asking the real question: walk-in shower or soaking tub? 🛁

Are you all about a quick rinse under a luxurious rain head, or do you prefer unwinding with a long, relaxing soak?
