Check out the progress in Ann Arbor, MI as our partners at Damico Contracting progress to the 3rd floor of our 1100 Broadway project. Utilizing a distinctive Structo-crete material provided by USG will expedite the installation of the floor system above the retail area, and allow Morningside to schedule operations moving forward more effectively. This project will utilize over 25,000 linear feet of CFS wall panels being prefabricated to include nearly 106,000 square feet of Hunter XCI foam promoting thermal efficiency within the structure. The floor system will include 6,037 joists in totality, engineered by our associates at McClure. We are excited when faced with opportunities to showcase the flexibility of our products in conjunction with unique materials that provide alternatives to maximize productivity on site. As always we greatly appreciate our allies in the industry, Morningside Equities Group, HKM Architects + Planners, Inc., Damico Contracting Inc. , Canam, USG, McClure and Hunter Panels - Energy Smart Polyiso for the success in this venture.

Progress continues at the 801 S.E. Apartments project in Minneapolis, MN where Zintl Inc. is up to the 7th floor. Our scope has surpassed the halfway point and is projected to be completed on schedule. We appreciate our partners in this endeavor – Ironmark Building Company, McClure, USG, and Canam for their cooperative efforts.

Eisen Group is nearing the completion of West Plaza Flats. A 210,000 SF co-housing and studios project situated 3 miles south of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Similar to many projects as of late, this structure was designed by B+A Architecture to be wood framed, but would ultimately be erected with 16,000 LF of preconstructed CFS wall panels sheathed with USG Securock Glass Mat Sheathing, installed by Dahmer Contracting Group. Eisen’s scope also facilitated the provision of 3,900 Eisen joists and 140,000 SF of steel decking, supplied by Canam. In conjunction with the Eisen panels, our associates at Engineered Steel Products - ESP provided the roof system to finish out the building. A cooperative effort on all fronts, streamlined by the engineering proficiency of McClure and the supervision of PriceMgmtCo. alongside Brinkmann Constructors.

The Damico Contracting, Inc. team has completed the second building on the Brush & Watson project in Detroit Michigan. This building features numerous areas of cantilevered sections of the structure where each floor is offset from one another. The preconstruction process on this project was critical in making the various angles and overhangs work together.

At Eisen we are always willing to try new things and push the boundaries of CFS structures. Today is no different, we are utilizing triple Eisen Joists in lieu of structural steel beams that are cost effective to manufacture and more importantly readily available for our customers.
