Introducing our Workforce Development Speaker, Doreen Cannon!

Doreen started her journey in UA Plumbers Local 55 Apprenticeship program in 1998 and served her 5-year apprenticeship with Northern Ohio Plumbing.

After becoming a Journeyman in 2003, she became involved in the union first serving as Chair of the Entertainment Committee. In 2006 she was elected by the members to the executive board where she served until 2011 when she became the first women elected President of Plumbers Local 55.

Justin Bibb is the 58th Mayor of Cleveland and took office in January of 2022. He will speak on jobs and economic development specific to the construction industry.
