Today was a great day! AB Mauri is proud to share that Barry Clayton (lead and recently retired), Gary Newman (retired), Duane Waltos (honored posthumously; 2020) and Greg Worthington (retired) were inducted into the American Society of Baking Hall of Fame.

This team founded Innovative Cereal Systems LLC (ICS) in Wilsonville, Oregon, in 1996—bringing new thinking and energy from Australia and New Zealand to North America. In 2005, AB Mauri North America acquired ICS, and the enzyme-based technology developed by this group has since helped transform baking across the U.S. and Canada—advancing extended shelf life, clean label solutions and baking efficiency.

The business model they established—now part of AB Mauri North America—remains highly respected by customers and competitors alike and continues to set a benchmark for value and consistency in baking.
