Our new Missouri K-12 Education Construction Consultant, Will Perkins, brings 31 years of public education experience to S. M. Wilson, including 21 years as a district superintendent.

In his new role, Will will connect with school districts across Missouri to introduce S. M. Wilson and support their capital project planning efforts. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with school districts and boards of education on budgeting, bond issues, capital planning and community engagement, including leading two successful ballot initiatives.

We are proud to support the City of Edwardsville — home of our Illinois headquarters — as a sponsor of the second annual Midwest Open pro beach volleyball tournament! Teams from across the country and beyond will compete from Sept. 25-27 at Plummer Family Park, just a few miles from where we are building the Goshen Commons public plaza.

We are dedicated to shaping the future workforce — through initiatives like SKILLED and by collaborating with school districts to enhance facilities. The renovated and expanded Columbia Area Career Center is a model example of a facility that equips students with the tools they need to succeed and energize the workforce pipeline! Built through the Reinhard/Wilson Joint Venture, CACC opened last November. We wish all CACC students and staff a great first full school year in this stunning facility!

Ducks in the Wild >> Our little friend recently stopped by Thomas Jefferson Middle School, where our team was busy wrapping up projects for the 2026-2027 school year! Next week, students will step into the fully renovated Thomas Jefferson and Lewis and Clark Middle Schools. Both Jefferson City School District facilities were built 30 years ago.

Jefferson City School District celebrated the grand opening of its new Jefferson City Academic Center (JCAC) to rave reviews. "It's such an amazing facility," said JCAC principal Shawn Kelsch. "It's just so amazing that everything is built specifically for us, and I can't wait to see the kids' faces when they come in."

The JCAC's new home features larger, consistently sized classrooms, a dedicated art room and a fresh, modern look that will inspire learning.
