Louis City and County, St. Charles, Wentzville and O’Fallon, as well as Illinois. We are a family owned and operated business. We understand that quality and workmanship — as well as affordability — are important to our customers. Empire Fence & Custom Iron Works has been in business since 1993. We fabricate iron fence, gates, rails, spiral stairs and other ornate pieces in our 23,000-square-foot office and fabrication shop.

This customer needed a fence that could keep up with her dog. We installed an 8-foot black chain-link fence to add extra height and help keep the dog safely contained in the yard.

Ever wonder why some fences look perfectly level while the ground isn’t? 👀

A fence doesn’t always go straight across when a yard has changed in grade.

On this project, we worked with the changing grade of the property to keep the fence looking clean and consistent throughout the yard.

The cedar and black steel make a pretty good combo, especially with that custom double gate. 🌲

Guard rails don’t have to be metal.

Wood guard rails can be used along roads and driveways to define the edge of the roadway while naturally blending into the surrounding landscape.

For a project like this, the installation has to account for more than just a straight line. The posts and rails follow the curve, slope, and changing grade of the roadway while naturally to create a clean, continuous installation.
