Carr Lane’s Captive Locating Screws with Adjustable Torque K**b deliver consistent, repeatable clamping force without tools.
Turn the k**b clockwise until it slips at the preset torque to ensure consistent clamping. Adjustable from 3 to 6 in-lbs, the k**b provides approximately 10 to 125 lbs of contact force.
That control matters in aerospace, where thin-walled, high-value parts can distort under excessive clamping force.
