We are excited to congratulate Dominic Caponi on his engagement to his future wife, Megan! Dominic has been an important part of the ACSI family since 2017 and is a valued member of our Sales Department. Over the years, his dedication, drive, and strong work ethic have played an important role in ACSI’s continued growth and success. His commitment to our customers, our team, and the company is greatly appreciated, and ACSI simply would not be what it is today without his hard work and contributions. Apparently, Dominic is just as successful at closing the deal outside of the office! It is with great sadness to announce that Saverio “Tony” Caponi passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the age of 90 years old.
Tony, along with Dave Senften, founded ACSI over 47 years ago. Through their hard work and innovation they propelled ACSI as a pioneer in the development of electrified door hardware products.
Tony’s son Eric (President) and grandson Dominic (customer service) continue the three generations of the Caponi legacy at ACSI.
Tony will be greatly missed by the ACSI Family but never forgotten.
