Chapter Governor Steven Potts with Primary Systems, Inc and Chuck Wrigley with Kaiser Electric joined other contractors from Missouri & across the country to advocate for the future of the electrical construction industry and the policies impacting our workforce, infrastructure, and business.

These students have been working tirelessly on their ECIC project, putting in the time, collaborating, and pushing themselves beyond the classroom.

St. Louis Business Journal has named International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1 & STL NECA recipients of the 2026 Innovation in Philanthropy Award for their work restoring power after the May 2025 tornado.

Through ReConnect STL, contractors, union electricians, suppliers, and community partners came together to bring light back to North St. Louis when it was needed most.

Did you know the demand for data centers in the U.S. is expected to more than double over the next few years as AI, cloud computing, and digital infrastructure continue to expand?

We had a full house last night for an inside look at mega projects and market recovery in our region.

A big thank you to Josh Bone from ELECTRI International and Dr. Anthony Perrenoud from Boise State University for sharing their research & insights on how contractors can prepare, grow, and position themselves for the data centers and other major projects coming to our area.

It was also great to have our Mizzou Student Chapter in the room. They got a firsthand look at what their future in the industry could look like as they begin work on the Electrical Contracting Innovation Challenge.
