St. Charles County Ambulance District recently acquired The Lifepak 35, a newly released monitor from Physio Control /Stryker. The ECG printer is separate from the main unit and protected by a soft case that prevents users from properly tearing the ECG printout. This results in jams and poor tears that remove portions of the printout. The edge provides clean tears that preserve hard data while mitigating printer jams. The inside ridges are made to grip the hem seams and prevent the edge from dislodging easily.

Over the last weeks Covid19 has dominated people’s lives.

Not only am I the owner of Blue Heron Technologies, I am paramedic with my local ambulance district.

While off duty, I’m actively using my growing resources here to assist in the fight of this pandemic. 3D printing is being donated to Face Shield Initiative STL and I’m researching PPE alternatives.

Social distancing is a snap with drones. It also provides a gateway for those that are home bound. My latest video came as a request from a neighborhood to see the new high school being built next door. It gives the neighborhood a sense of hope and encouragement. I intend to maintain social distancing and yet stay active with the technology available to me. Take care. Stay safe.
