John Bender Incorporated Promotes Guy Herriman Jr. to Director of Operations

John Bender Incorporated has announced the promotion of Guy Herriman Jr. to Director of Operations, recognizing his outstanding leadership and decades of service to the company.

Herriman joined the firm in 1998 and has since become a cornerstone of its success, helping to guide projects and teams with professionalism, integrity, and respect. His steady leadership and deep understanding of operations have earned him the trust of colleagues across all levels of the organization.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Randy Prinster, who retired in 2018 from John Bender, Inc after an incredible 44 years of dedicated service.

Randy was not only a hardworking and dependable member of our team—he was the heart of it. His work ethic, kindness, and good humor left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him. He truly was loved by all.

We are grateful for the time we had with Randy, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, Randy.

Motorists who travel the Lackland Rd. bridge over I-170 will need to use alternate routes as the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) closed the bridge on Monday, Dec. 5. The closure will last approximately seven months.

Contractors will be removing the old driving surface of the bridge and replacing it with a new one. New sidewalks and a barrier wall will also be placed on the bridge.

During the removal of the old driving surface, I-170 will be closed in both directions. This closure is schedule to take place starting at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9 through 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12. All work is weather, permitting.

The newly rehabilitated bridge on Midland Rd. over I-170 is now open. For further info on the Midland and Lackland bridge projects go to:
