We are a non-union General Contractor looking for a team player that likes a variety of work. This position consists of mostly residential concrete, infills, garages, flatwork, garage foundations, landscaping, retaining walls, and occasionally general labor. We are city company, and our job sites are very close together. Tools are provided and we offer a fair hourly rate based on skillset + benefits package. MAIN RSPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for laying out grades, concrete forming and finishing. You should be confident in all types of labor positions as well as new construction and rehab concrete and landscaping projects. You must also have a valid driver’s license and be able to pull a trailer through city streets.

Must pass a drug test and background check. You also need to have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for transportation to and from work in addition to driving from job site to job site.

Garcia is looking for an Accounting Assistant. More than Construction, we are a group of family-owned companies that include Property Management, Real Estate Development, and even a Bar! Our accounting team is small, but mighty! We offer a casual environment (think jeans and t-shirts every day), and a lot of variety to keep you motivated.

Job Duties:
· Process all Accounts Payables
· Enter all vendor invoices and credit card receipts
· Scan/Organize/File/Attach invoices in various programs
· Verify invoices match budgets and budget cost codes
· Gather COI’s and W9’s for new subcontractors
· Obtain signed lien waivers prior to payment
· Prepare project billing, including draw requests and T&M invoices
· Prepare cost reports for Project Managers
· Sort and distribute mail
· Light reception – answer/field incoming calls for Construction company

Job Requirements:
· Organized and detailed
· Optimistic
· 3-5 years of accounting experience
· Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
· Confident in Microsoft Excel
· Multitask for different companies/projects

Programs we use include QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio and Sage Contractor 100. Familiarity with any of these programs is a benefit, but not a requirement. We will train you…don’t worry. We won’t throw you in the deep end to see how well you can swim (we will at least give you a life vest if we do)!
