Canna CleanTech is a new Bio-Tech Corporation that has been listening to the needs and concerns of our local Maine municipalities, unemployed workforce, agricultural and forestry industries, global bio-fuel and biomass initiatives, Federal and State Energy Mandates and our planet. We want to see people employed and depressed areas begin to thrive again and for our money to stay more local where we all need it. We wish to see growth in rural communities and reverse the relocating of our reliable work forces, our children and extended families, our college graduates and the vanishing of our heritage. As residents that were born and raised in State of Maine it is disheartening to take a drive or even just look out the window down our street and see the bitter demise of everything around us. You can't hide the massive quantity of houses up for sale, foreclosed on, vacant or falling apart. Many of Maine's fertile fields that were once planted are now beginning to grow up and buildings that used to house the States' industries are falling apart or being torn down and sold off. Like everyone else, we are concerned with Maine's future and our company is on a mission to usher in the change that we need in our communities, universities, industries and our environment.

H**pcrete has a very high measurement of fire resistance, or R value, when compared to other construction materials. H**pcrete has a R Value of 2.08 per inch of thickness compared to regular concrete which has around .08 per inch of thickness. There aren’t any other construction materials that have such a high R Value while costing so little to produce.

Word from the President of Canna CleanTech,

"Please don't force us to buy Industrial H**p from another country to support this industry in Maine. We would like to buy our Industrial H**p from local Farmers and support our local economy. Let's Grow Maine's Economy together!"

We are urging the State of Maine Legislators to amend the State Laws and Regulations that are impeding the State of Maine from creating and implementing pilot projects for Industrial H**p as authorized by Section 7606 of the 2014 Farm Bill signed by the President of the United States on February 7, 2014. Please support L.D.525 this upcoming legislation session, it repeals the provision that licensure is contingent upon action by the Federal Government. Once this amendment is passed, it allows a person to grow industrial h**p if that person holds a license issued by the Commissioner of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources and the h**p is grown under a federal permit in compliance with the conditions of that permit.
