A Staten Island-based HVAC Service Company seeks an energetic and aggressive HVAC Dispatcher with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Candidate will ensure that all calls for service, repair and maintenance are handled in a timely fashion. Candidate should possess good oral and written communication skills, both with coworkers and over the telephone with outside company associates. The candidate must possess the following skills:
- HVAC or like experience (office or field) preferred
- Schedule and dispatch technician(s) for scheduled maintenances, emergency and routine service calls
- Take service calls from customers
- Call & Schedule service/maintenance with customers
- Serve as liaison between technician(s) and clients to determine course of action
- Service Fusion experience is a big plus
- Generate Purchase Orders and Quotes
- Excellent communication and phone skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient multi-tasking skills
- Strong computer experience (Word, Excel, Gmail)
- Demonstrates ability to be proactive and resourceful
- Experience in high volume service a plus
MUST have reliable mode of transportation (if not based in Staten Island)
Hours: Monday – Friday; 8AM – 4:30PM
Availability to start immediately preferred
Salary is dependent on experience, to be discussed at interview
Minimum HS Diploma required
Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree a plus
