Margaret Margie Bottenfield Bird, 76, wife of Paul Bird Jr., of Buffalo Gap Highway in Churchville, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Bird was born in Bath County, Virginia on August 13, 1945, a daughter of the late Albert and Clarice Bottenfield. Margie was a

It is with a heavy heart that I report that Margie Bird, part owner and long time secretary of the company passed away in her home yesterday. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Redeeming Life Ministry or to The Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are pending.

The company has undergone some changes since the beginning of the year, with losing one of our techs, to having to deal with the Cocid 19 pandemic. We are operating to the best of our abilities. Please be advised that I am working from home and enduring virtual schooling like most other families. That said, if you call and I don't answer, I will get back to you as soon as possible. Emails are always welcome also. I want to assure our customers that you are especially important to us and we are working very hard to get our customers taken care of while maintaining health and safety standards.

Paul and Shawn Bird have taken care of our geothermal system for years, most recently installing a new unit. They show up when they say they will, and the work gets done. A small, friendly, family-run business. Recommend highly.
