Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the Dry Canyon Clubhouse Grand Opening! We were thrilled to see such a great turnout as residents, community members, partners, and guests came together to celebrate this exciting milestone.

The Dry Canyon Clubhouse represents the collaboration, dedication, and shared vision of many outstanding partners. We are especially grateful to for their leadership and commitment in helping bring this vision to life. Thank you as well to and for being valued partners in the success of Dry Canyon, and to the for helping coordinate the ribbon-cutting ceremony. It is always rewarding to be part of projects that create lasting spaces for connection and community across Central Oregon.

We’re excited to co-host this event with and officially welcome the community to this beautiful new clubhouse featuring resort-style amenities, gathering spaces, fitness facilities, pickleball courts, and more.

Congratulations to Thomas Kay Flooring and Interiors on the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of their beautiful new showroom!

Their new space reflects their passion for helping customers create spaces they love and it was wonderful to celebrate this milestone alongside their team and the community.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to help bring their vision for this space to life and are excited for all that’s ahead for them.

Progress continues in Newport, Oregon on the new housing project for Pacific Communities Health District.

This week, crews placed 46 yards of concrete slab with RK Concrete while RK Excavation installed the footing drain system and backfilled retaining walls.

One of the biggest challenges on this project has been coordinating extensive dirt work and underground utilities within a very tight jobsite footprint. Thanks to strong collaboration from the entire team, we’ve continued to keep work moving forward safely and efficiently.

Following the concrete placement, crews cleaned up, graded, and rocked the front of the site in preparation for framing to begin next.

We’re proud to continue partnering with Pacific Communities Health District, Samaritan Health Services, Capri Architecture, RK Concrete, RK Excavation, and FEI Testing & Inspection on this important project supporting rural healthcare in our communities.

Phase 2 of the Taft Discovery Park is complete!

Our responsibility in the project was the construction of the performing arts stage and public restrooms building. Phase 2 of the park is currently closed while the grass and landscape have time to get established but Lincoln City will host a grand opening of the park sometime early this summer.

Phase 3 begins this July.

Introducing the new pharmacy coming to Mill City. Located in the former U.S. Bank building, this project will bring expanded healthcare access to the community and surrounding areas, complete with a drive-through for added accessibility and ease. This transformation reflects the continued growth and resilience of the Mill City community.

.connect addition is progressing steadily with completion anticipated before the 2026 school year. Interior work is focused on insulating walls and ceilings, while roofing is underway on the exterior.

The recent stretch of dry, warmer weather has helped maintain strong momentum on site and we’re grateful to see the project continuing to move forward smoothly.

Phase 5 is complete at Salud Medical Center, with the new Nurse Care area officially turned over.

This phase presented unique logistical challenges, situated between two fully active medical pods and requiring careful coordination to deliver seamlessly without disrupting ongoing care.

The newly designed space enhances collaboration between nurses and physicians, supporting more efficient, patient-centered care. Key upgrades include improved lighting, enhanced climate control, and integrated sound baffling for a more functional and comfortable environment.

Phase 6 is up next. Stay tuned.

Rob represented Kaufman Commercial at the Cascade High School Regional Career Fair earlier this week, connecting with students and sharing insights into the commercial construction industry. We value opportunities like this to engage with our community and support the next generation as they explore careers in the trades.

Wrapping up a full remodel and new addition for new office and showroom. We’re down to the final touches and running through the last checklist items to make sure everything is dialed in.

Last week, our General Manager, Rob Steiner, and Kent Kaufman (President of Kaufman Homes) attended the International Mass Timber Conference in Portland and saw firsthand the momentum driving this industry forward.

The level of innovation and collaboration continues to grow with more advanced projects and momentum building across the industry. It is exciting to see how far things have come and where they are headed next.
