Doing a little lime stabilization

Pretty interesting process that provides stability in the soil and reduces the expansion and contracting affects of clay giving the pavement support without constant moving and settling.

Tucson, AZ

So I wish I could say every job went perfect and there were never any issues. That's simply not the case. The guys worked hard but the concrete just set up way too fast (less than an hour), the finish was terrible and uneven. So what's the answer, how do you fix it? The answer is you rip it out and do it again.

Called in some backup, ripped 10k of concrete out and poured new. It's never what you want to do but that's life. The profit margin is gone but I hope that it's an investment to the future and a happy customer when the end product meets expectations.

On to the next one.
