Located in Sterling, Nebraska, about 40 miles southeast of Lincoln, Nebraska, Laffman Garage is an auto repair shop that works on all vehicles but specializes in hot rod repair and service. The goal of the business is to enable and support the dreams of car lovers everywhere while offering vehicle repair and service that is reasonable and done with care. We also offer selected tire, repair, and maintenance services to the patrons of Sterling and surrounding communities.

We kindly ask people to not throw their used tires in the tire pile outside the shop. We have to pay to discard these tires so it’s an expense we don’t want to take on unless you are purchasing new tires from us. Thank you for your understanding.

Hey everyone! We are posting this as a courtesy to let you know that the Sterling Community Association has cancelled the car show for 2025.

We are doing our best to get the word out so you can make other arrangements for that day. We would hate to have someone show up expecting a show and be disappointed.

We will be at the Garage the day of the Picnic, scheduled for May 31, with our hot rods parked in the lot. If you would like to bring your car and show it off, you are more than welcome to park it in our lot. But there will be no official show, trophies, announcements, etc.

Thank you for all of your support over the years--we've enjoyed seeing your faces and swapping car stories every year!

If you have friends or family who usually attend the show please share with them.
