We were proud to welcome the IMEC “Makers on the Move” bus tour to P&P Industries!

This statewide initiative, led by the Illinois Manufacturers' Association (IMA) and Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC), celebrates the strength, innovation, and career opportunities within Illinois manufacturing.

Our stop also included a second bus from The University of Illinois System – featuring President Timothy Killeen, the University Chancellors, and staff – highlighting the shared commitment between education and industry to inspire the next generation of makers.

🎉 On June 19th, we celebrated our Great Place to Work Employee Appreciation Event across all three shifts! 🎉

Lunch was catered by The Bread Lady in Morrison, IL, and it was a great day to come together as a team and recognize some outstanding contributions.

👕 T-shirts were given to all full-time team members who participated in the GPTW survey—thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and help us grow!

We’re proud to share that P&P Industries has been named the 2024 John Deere Supplier of the Year, the highest honor in Deere’s Achieving Excellence program.

This recognition reflects our team’s continued focus on quality, delivery, and process alignment. P&P has now received John Deere’s top rating of “Partner” for 23 consecutive years, an unprecedented achievement in the program’s history.

To celebrate, we provided lunch and cake for our employees, handed out custom hats from Deere, and gave everyone a paid day off to enjoy a long weekend. We also appreciated the opportunity to hear a personal thank you from Deere executives recognizing our team’s commitment.

We’re grateful to our employees for making this milestone possible.

The "Can" trophy has landed! 🏆🍝

Last week, we were honored to be presented with the official Pasta Champion Trophy by Keri Olson, Executive Director of the United Way! This fun can-shaped trophy now lives at P&P Industries after our team donated an amazing 1,636 pounds of pasta as part of United Way’s campaign to help feed children in our community over the summer.

**We did it!!! 🏆🍝**

P&P Industries is proud to be crowned the **Pasta Champion** in this year’s friendly competition with Timken Drives!

With just 92 employees, we donated an incredible **1,636 pounds of pasta** – that’s **17.78 pounds per person**! 💪💥
Timken Drives also did an amazing job with 1,557 pounds from 303 employees (5.14 pounds per person), but in the end… **Team P&P came out on top!**

This campaign was part of a **United Way initiative to help feed children in our community** during the summer months. Every box, every can, every package donated helps provide a nutritious meal to a child in need. ❤️

We’re thrilled to take home the traveling Pasta Champion trophy (yes, it’s shaped like a can!) and can’t wait to defend our title next year!

Thank you to everyone who gave so generously. You’ve made a real difference.
