From standing beneath the massive Saturn V rocket to exploring Independence Plaza and seeing pieces of space history up close, our team members, Shoaib Shaikh, Michael Teicheira, and Dr. John R. Tidwell, enjoyed a memorable visit to NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. Our team was able to meet with NASA’s experts to discuss our work and its role in the upcoming Artemis missions and the future of air filtration in space!
An inspiring reminder of the innovation, precision, and teamwork that make extraordinary achievements possible.
A few fun facts:
• The Saturn V stands 363 feet tall, about the height of a 36-story building, and remains one of the most powerful rockets ever flown, launching astronauts toward the Moon during the Apollo missions and helping launch Skylab, America's first space station
• Zarya was the first component launched for the International Space Station in 1998 and served as the station's initial power and control module, laying the groundwork for the international laboratory orbiting Earth today
• Modern spacesuits are essentially a personal spacecraft, providing oxygen, temperature control, and protection from the harsh environment of space
