Polywater

Polywater Founded in 1973 by Nelson Jonnes It was well received, but the potential income from that alone could not support his family of six.

In 1973, Nelson Jonnes, a Minnesota research chemist with more than a dozen patents under his belt, threw together some slippery ingredients in his basement and began selling it as a SCUBA diving-suit lubricant. With a quick change of marketing focus in 1974, the fledgling company began selling the same technology to the telcom and power utility markets in the form of a unique, water-based cable p

ulling lubricant. It revolutionized the industry, which until then had used mud, wax, and grease. Polywater® Cable Pulling Lubricants have been the leaders ever since.

🧤⚡ Clean. Inspect. Protect.
When electrical rubber goods are covered in dirt and grime, damage can be harder to spot.
Proper cleaning helps restore visibility, making it easier to identify cuts, cracks, and wear during inspection—while helping extend the life of your equipment.
Because when it comes to electrical safety, what you can see matters.

🌍 Connecting globally. Growing together.

This week, Polywater colleagues from around the world came together in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, for our Global Sales Meeting — two days of collaboration, conversation, and planning at the historic Hotel New York.

Bringing together members of our sales, marketing, R&D, and leadership teams, the meeting was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, strengthen connections, and align on the opportunities ahead.

And, of course, we made some time to enjoy Rotterdam together — with a few family members joining us along the way!

A great couple of days with a great team. Stronger together!
