When Ray and Donna Densmore set up shop in their Old Mystic home in 1949, they understood the true value of a family owned and operated business. We Make Warm Friends is more than just a slogan that Donna dreamed up over 60 years ago; she understood the value of a family owned and operated business. By putting the family name on every service van and fuel delivery truck, we’ve continued to maintain the importance of a warm, friendly, family attitude. Now, 70 years later, Densmore is still family owned and operated, continued by their granddaughter Jamie. Today, Densmore is a 3rd-generation, female-owned company.

Thank you for shoveling!

Help keep our team safe this winter: During the winter, snow and ice can create problems for our oil delivery drivers, service technicians and plumbers. You can help us do our job efficiently and safely by following the recommendations below:

- Please make sure the path to your fill pipe is clear. If a lot of snow has fallen, please shovel a path.
- Please clear ice and snow from your driveway and walkways.
- If we need to go through a gate, please make sure both sides of the gate are clear, and it can open properly.
-Please make sure your house number is visible.
- Ordering your fuel early can provide comfort during winter months. If you are a will call customer, please call when your tank is between ½ and ¼ full and give a minimum of 10 days notice.

*Not clearing your driveway and walkways could delay your fuel deliveries for a week or more.
