The CAM Lab's Dr. Lauren Richmond and Lois Burnett traveled to Nagoya, Japan to present at the Society for Applied Research in Aging and Cognition's 14th biennial conference.

Dr. Richmond presented a keynote presentation on the use of cognitive offloading in everyday memory. She also presented on the benefits of cognitive offloading to older adult memory performance for both simple and complex information, with Lois Burnett as a co-author!

Fun fact: The vote to declare independence from the British actually took place on July 2, 1776. It took two additional days for the report of the vote to be printed in the papers, hence why we celebrate our nation's independence on July 4!
