The 1916 mansion of Alva Belmont, “Beacon Towers”, reimagined as how it might look today. Of course due to many issues most of it would never pass approval.

What if someone wanted to rebuild the circa 1900, now demolished Knollwood mansion, Muttontown, Long Island, NY, AKA, King Zog mansion but wanted a modern take on it. The first photo is what I got when I asked my AI Grock program. What do you think?

The inner gatehouse before entering the court of Oheka, Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, NY. How many have driven through this archway and for those that have, what did you think of Oheka?

A perfect sandcastle that once stood at Sands Point, Long Island, NY. If only such whimsical residences could be built today. Sadly it only lasted about 30 years until it was demolished in the late 1940’s. Lawrance Architectural Presentations still creates original paper/mat board models for design and ARB submissions along with current 3D computer models/renderings/360 video and flyovers. Located on Long Island, New York for site visits and meetings if needed.

The now demolished Harbor Hill mansion once located at Roslyn, Long Island, NY. My firm rebuilt it as a portfolio piece and updated it with some AI for this short video. If interested in having something like this done for a current project please contact me at 516-241-7920.

It seems like a day doesn’t go by that I don’t find another photo of the Cornelius Vanderbilt II mansion and the neighborhood around it. The third photo is very bad quality but I did some cleaning up so we can see the details. What is so special about this view is seeing the center of the roof surrounded by third & fourth floor inner walls. Also as much as we complain about the lack of respect for architecture, the Mary Mason Jones block on the east side of Fifth Avenue by the mid 1920s was converted into the ugliest mis-mash of commercial use. Only the original Jones mansion at the corner survived but was eventually replaced. The white modern box was the site of the Huntington mansion, then torn down and replaced with what is called a tax holder, a building erected to generate rent to pay the land taxes till something better would be built. Today the flagship store of Tiffany & Co. still remains. The Vanderbilt mansion was torn down in the mid 1920s and replaced with a department store which eventually become Bergdorf Goodman.
