Today at Kleener & Greener we received a 2nd opinion call that went something like this:
Caller informed me that his a/c unit needed replaced and that he had already gotten a quote from a good friend. He then told me that price, and I replied with, "Sounds like he is giving you a good deal." Caller wanted me to get back to him with an actual quote, so I figured his system up immediately.
Honestly, my price was a couple hundred dollars less than what he said his good friend was gonna do it for, but I sent him a price that was just a bit ($50.00) more than his friend. At which time he told me he was gonna get him to replace his unit. Which I had expected. If he hadn't told me the backstory I would have responded with my slightly lesser price.
Here at Kleener & Greener we are not trying to undercut honest prices. However we do believe in giving the friends and family discount to everyone.
