Highland Tank manufactured the FIREGUARD® tanks and supplied the fueling systems shown here. Two of the FIREGUARD® tanks were shipped as turnkey fueling systems using the HL-87 dispensing system. The entire site uses both the FuelShield+ and the FuelShield MINI+ to monitor and manage inventory and fuel dispensing. The system employs the barcode scanner option to authorize transactions with the vehicle ID, driver ID, and project number. Each fuel dispensing system is custom-specified to match the unique needs of each site and facility. Learn more at highlandtank.com.

Highland Tank built this 5,000 gallon FIREGUARD® tank equipped with a High-LINK® HL-87 turnkey fuel dispensing package which includes a FuelShield Mini Plus. The FuelShield Mini Plus uses a barcode scanner for vehicle ID, driver ID, and to collect the project number. The system authorizes all three numbers against the database before starting the transaction allowing for easy monitoring of fuel dispensing and inventory for each truck.

40 Years! Congratulations to our Highland Tank of North Carolina General Manager, John Schmucker, on reaching this impressive milestone. John started working at Highland Tank's Stoystown, PA location on December 2, 1985 and transferred to Greensboro, NC in 1998 to take over General Manager responsibilities. We're grateful to have you on the team, John. Congratulations!

We are committed to safety in every aspect of our manufacturing process. Captain Greg Westbrook and Andrew Jones with the Greensboro Fire Department Special Operations Unit recently visited our Greensboro, NC factory. They spent time familiarizing themselves with the factory layout, fire suppression system, and confined space program. This initiative is intended to improve overall safety and prevention.

Highland Tank recently completed a startup for a tank system that utilizes High-LINK® FuelShield Plus. The four tanks are used at a construction site to fuel a variety of vehicles. Three 10,000 gallon diesel tanks are high-flow systems, and the 6,000 gallon gasoline tank is a standard flow system. Each tank works independently to fill vehicles so that any of the four tanks may be relocated to other sites in the future. Highland Tank's High-LINK® technology allows for convenient monitoring of all four tanks while maintaining the ability to adapt to and accommodate changing site needs.
