Reflecting back on some great work last week!

Whole bunch of grade excavated, 4 Sono tubes DUG,INSPECTED🔍, & POURED before the snow ❄️
About 250 feet of elevation-Very steep hill on a very steep property
STOKED that everyone got it DONE before the snowstorm!

CEDAR ROOFS- 🥶Ice After Rain🌧️
Cedar roofs absorb moisture when it’s raining….shingles SWELL
So, it’s CRITICAL when we 🏠 build a roof that:
1) we leave gapping between the shingles (allows them to expand and contract)
2) we make sure the cedar roof is allowed to breath with either a solid ply roof deck or a Cedar Breather
Look carefully 👀 you’ll see ice runnings coming out
(Normally if you see water coming out from under the shingles it means that the roof is ⚠️leaking)
In this case it’s just a cool 😎 phenomenon 🪄🔬of ice, as the shingles are drying from yesterday’s rain.
