Gebhardt USA has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Installation technician with experience in Installing high tech machinery at customer sites. As an Installation Tech at Gebhardt USA, you will be challenged to use your technical expertise, team building and problem-solving skills, solid business judgment, initiative, and creativity to install robotic products for our customers looking to innovate their material handling operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an installation tech in a manufacturing setting
• Proven experience in people management, and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience in industrial automation, materials handling, conveyor assembly, robotics industry preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, experience in “start-up” company culture.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PP).
• Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner
• Must be able to lift 80lbs
• Must be able to work in standing, kneeling or prone position for long periods of time
• Experience with installation of warehouse equipment
• Comfortable operating forklifts, scissor jacks, hand, and power tools, etc.
• Must be able to travel and stay at remote job sites
• Ability to maneuver a job site, including small spaces in and around equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Follow verbal, written, and digital instructions
• Meet critical Installation schedules
• Notify management when encountering obstacles to completion
• Responsible for the installation of large material handling systems
• Must be able to work extended shifts

• Complete installation reporting as needed
• Strictly follow up on work instruction, rules, and regulations

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work Authorization: Must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.
Travel: Ability to travel nationally and internationally by air and/or car, approximately 20% of first year for training.
General: Has required skills and knowledge to perform role and responsibilities.
